You are welcome here!
Hi! I'm Thea (tay-uh). I work with clients of all identities through anxiety, life transitions, trauma, grief, identity shifts, and relationship challenges. My approach is relational and human-centered; I provide a warm, welcoming space for folks to explore their experiences while gaining insight to make meaningful change.
Therapy can be a soft place to land in our chaotic world. You may be managing through a new phase of life or trying to understand how your past experiences are shaping your life today. You may be seeking to understand yourself more deeply or find coping tools to navigate everyday life. Therapy is a place for all of you: anxious, hopeful, messy, healing, mistrusting, grieving, joyful, afraid. You deserve to feel supported in exploring your experiences, understanding yourself more fully, and finding your own path forward.
I have a special interest in working with folks through emerging adulthood, trauma, transitions to parenthood, grief and loss, identity shifts, school/work transitions, and relationship changes. I also work with children and teens navigating anxiety, life transitions, social stress and emotional development. I work from an affirming framework that honors diverse gender identities, sexualities, and relationship structures.
Finding the right therapist for you is important! I invite you to reach out and set up a free consultation.
When I am not at work, you can most often find me outside, reading a book, cooking, and appreciating a strong cup of coffee!
